Last night I went to shul for the first time in eleven years. I stumbled over the transliteration, but it was surprisingly peaceful and nice. I may go again next week. (The local Jewish congregation is too small for a permanent rabbi, so in summers they bring a rabbinical/cantoral student up for the session. It makes for an interesting change each summer. )

I haven't been to shul in at least 10 years (and probably more like 15 or 20, in fact). *shrugs*

I don't usually go, but it's kind of nice in summer because they're all really enthused and having fun.
