Watching Doomsday Preppers and feeling very sorry for that poor Colombian woman who's marrying a prepper- she didn't know this till now, she's just landed in the US and he's running her through a drill before she's been here 12 hours. Methinks this does not auger well.

I get the impression it's kind of a mail-order bride situation. They've been corresponding and he's been to where she lives, but this was her first trip to his home- which he was planning to get rid of since he's moving to "God's country."

According to the update, she did marry him. I wish her luck.

Wow. As do I. Their goals don't seem to be aligning since she's trying to move to America.

I think "God's country" was somewhere like Maine? Can't remember. It definitely inspired an eyeroll.

Well. Hm. Maine was beautiful - eventually. It also gets some points for being Hawkeye's fictional home. I'm not sure what might qualify it as an alternative to Olympus though.

Well, first you'd have to reclassify it as Gods' country and simply start over...? This might call for some eating of children and subsequent bursting of stomachs.
