Dental surgery. Two wisdom teeth. Trying not to think about the bill. *winces* Or the sedation.

Aaaayaaaaagh! You can do it! And the sedation isn't so bad if they're using IV sedation like I think is the standard nowadays. At least, I thought that IV sedation was kind of awesome... my only complaint was I woke up thinking "what was that dream?" and could never remember anything more. Well, that and having the shakes for a few minutes.

I'm not sure- they said general anesthesia, so I'll have to see. Mostly I'm just feeling twitchy- I wrote my will and that helped a bit.

You can opt for a local (at least I was able to the last time I had wisdom teeth pulled), if you prefer, though I completely understand if you'd rather not. Either way, good luck and I hope things go well!

When my dentist took a look, he said I'd need to be out completely. That's why they're sending me to the oral surgeon.

Luckily, I have insurance and they will file with it, but I have to pay at the time. It's probably going to come to around $2000. Ack!
