Really not happy right now...

I lost my wallet last month- got it back and nothing was missing, so I'm happy for nice people. However, I decided to look at my bank account online just now to see if all the checks I've written in the last couple of weeks went through. There were 2 withdrawls from a company I don't use listed totalling $300. I went to the credit union and asked what that was about- apparently somebody took the MICR number off one of those checks and used it to get access to my checking account. I have to fill out affidavits and change my account number. I will get the money back, but it's a pain. Plus, I had to transfer another $300 to cover any checks that come in before I can get this straightned out- thank God I had it.

Thieves suck.
